Tibet as a landscape forms one of the highest, most isolated and harshest human habitations on earth. Yet Tibet is a place steeped in unimaginable beauty, full of untouched mountain peaks, rivers and lakes, which offer some of the world's most stunning views.

Blindness is a reality that affects more people in Tibet than any other place in the entire world. Due to its remote geography, access to the most affordable treatments are simply not available. 75% of blindness and related eye diseases in Tibet can be prevented or treated.

For as little as $50, the cost of a simple 15-minute eye surgery, doctors have the means to permanently restore sight to the blind.

On Thursday, March 11th, the day after Tibetans National Uprising Day, Labspace Studio will present BLINDNESS, an evening of Tibetan food and international musicians, all in complete darkness. 100% of proceeds raised will go to sponsor a micro-surgical eye camp in a rural region of Tibet.

BLINDNESS is an awareness campaign, a fundraiser and a celebration of Tibet's rich culture, a culture that continues to persevere despite years of political oppression.
